The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the bus stop and major sights around the lake. And the view of Mt. Fuji was breathtaking. The traditional Japanese experience was a delight, from sleeping on futons to wearing different kinds of sleepers. The local onsen separated for men and women was an added bonus, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing bath.
The breakfast area was basic, but it was still delicious. There was no elevator, which could be challenging for older guests who need to climb stairs to their rooms.
